Shipping Calves

Today we shipped 320 calves.  We were at the corrals for four hours and the kids entertained themselves nicely the entire time.  Clyde wanted to bring a shovel so I grabbed two of those, a broken hammer and a little rake.  They played in the dirt with the brand inspector's granddaughter for a long time, then they played in the car, drew some pictures and just hung out with me at the scale house.  I was really proud of them that they could be so patient about it all.
