Driving up to Norwood in a Snowstorm...

Valley County in the spring is a little unpredictable and this year we just can't shake winter. Ben came around the 10th of May and started fixing fences and opened up the houses. One day he woke up to 3 inches of snow. The kids and I stayed down in Eagle for school and to feed the calves and pony until the end of May. We drove up Friday May 27, the beginning of Memorial Day Weekend. The roads weren't too overcrowded, but you could definitely tell it was a holiday weekend. As we pulled up to Norwood on Fairbrother Rd., it was looking pretty wintry. So far we've had mixed weather and last night was the first night we didn't put a fire in the big fireplace for the night.
