First Fish

I missed this when it happened, so here it is now... Clyde caught his first fish (on October 17th)! He, Ben and Alice went fishing in Mud Creek. He has a little kid fishing pole and learned to cast and reel it in, so he actually caught the fish and brought it in, pretty exciting for anyone, but especially so for a 3 year old. Ben put the worm on for him and helped him get the fish off. He was so excited when he got home he was yelling, "Mommy, Mommy! I caught a fish!" and holding it up for me to see. As you can see it was giant ;)... We put the fish in the freezer and every day he would tell me he wanted fish for breakfast. A week or so later Ben made fish sticks for dinner from trout from our friend Kay's farm, but he told Clyde it was his fish and it made Clyde so happy. I think his Great Granddad Bud Hiatt would be so happy to know that his love of fishing is shared by Clyde.
