Fall in Long Valley

Norwood, the ranch where we graze the cows all summer and fall, is in Valley County and it's also known as long valley, which is an apt description. It's a long valley flanked by mountains and it's beautiful. Living in the ranch house we have fabulous views out our windows every day. We took a drive up to No Business Lookout which is pretty much due west of the ranch. It was a fun day and great scenery. We unfortunately picked opening day of elk season and a Saturday so it was a little crowded for usually having no people. The tamaracks and aspens were a great show and we passed some sheep on our way up.
